This 6 week course is suitable for beginners with no previous experience and mixed level participants who want to improve their skills on the pottery wheel. Elements of hand building may be integrated into your course, so participants get a rounded view of what is possible with clay. Whilst your course is loosley structured, your tutor will guide and work with you, depending on your experience and challenge you to improve your pottery skills. Additionally, you will be finally glazing your pieces.

What you will have the opportunity to learn or improve on:

Centering
Pulling up walls
Trimming
Attaching handles (if needed)
Glazing

What's included:

We will provide all materials throughout the course. All of our students use our buff stoneware clay, and have access to a full range of tools and glazes.
The glazing and firing of up to 5 pieces (extra pots are charged at £5 per small pot and £10 for bigger pots).
